So I signed up for the shitty Nylon Magazine newsletter to get the pre-sale password for Fiona’s show in Boston. At 10:05 those motherfuckers hadn’t sent out the password yet!
Luckily, a poster on a Fiona message board I lurk at *GUESSED* it (they all had to do with her singles) and I was able to scoop up two tickets for her show at the Royale in Boston. Which apparently is pretty lucky because the New York presale sold out in like, ten minutes. I venture to say that the proper on-sale tomorrow at noon is going to sell out in record time as well.
The last time I saw Fiona was in 2005 with my friend Anne in Ohio. It was a Fiona/Nickel Creek show. This will be my first time seeing Fiona at a girl and her piano style show.
It’s a general admission venue so you can bet your ass I will be at that venue hours early so I can be in the front. Fuck it- I’m going put in for a vacation right now!
